  1. 01Lots of conversation

Before talking deliverables, we listen. As many conversations as it takes to understand the business, the people and what needs to change.

  2. 02Diagnosis

A reading of the business, the market and the brand, with data and fieldwork. We name the real problem before proposing anything.

  3. 03Designed solution

The tailored path: which pillars come in, in what order, and with which curators and partners.

  4. 04Proposal development

Clear scope, timeline, deliverables and investment, in writing, before any work begins.

  5. 05Validation and approval

The client reviews, adjusts and approves. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.

  6. 06Execution and cycles

A fixed project or monthly cycles, with decisions and deliverables at every stage. You talk to the people doing the thinking.

Frequently asked questionsFor newcomers
What does Jugaad mean?

Jugaad is a word of Hindi origin that means using ingenuity, creativity and controlled resources to find efficient, practical, smart and unconventional solutions to everyday problems. It is doing more with less, making the most of what is already at hand. A valuable innovation technique for today.

What is a connections agency?

An agency that delivers results by connecting the right parties: brands and people, companies and investors, problems and specialists. Instead of starting with the deliverable, a connections agency defines the strategy and orchestrates the network of curators, advisors, partners, creators and media that moves the business forward. That is what JUGAAD does from São Paulo.

Why is JUGAAD a connections agency in São Paulo?

Because connecting is at the core of the work. There are 18 curators and a network of specialist partners by vertical; Business Board connects companies with investors and advisors on demand; Live Marketing brings the right people together at events and dinners; JUGAAD HUMAN-FIRST connects brands with content creators, press and communities. We are based in São Paulo, with projects in more than 25 countries.

What services does JUGAAD offer?

Eleven fronts in five movements: Strategy and Business Board (THINK); JUGAAD Branding and JUGAAD Senses (BUILD); Live Marketing and Out of Home (ACTIVATE); JUGAAD AI-Driven, JUGAAD Seller and JUGAAD HUMAN-FIRST (GROW); ESG and Regenerative Villages (CULTIVATE).

Do I need to know marketing to hire you?

No. You bring the business, we bring the method. Every stage ends in clear decisions, in plain language.

How are you different from a traditional agency?

Traditional agencies usually start with the deliverable. A connections agency starts with the question: it understands the problem, defines the strategy and only then coordinates execution through a network of specialist partners.

How is it priced?

Per fixed project or in monthly cycles. Scope and investment are set in the proposal, before we start.

Do you work with small companies?

Yes. What defines the work is not the size of the company but the size of the problem. We take on few brands at a time so each one gets real attention.

Do you execute or only plan?

Both. We think through the strategy and coordinate execution with a network of specialist partners, so what was decided actually happens.

Does JUGAAD use agile methodology?

Yes. Agile methodology splits work into short, iterative cycles called sprints to deliver value quickly and flexibly. We use Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP (Extreme Programming), and we also run Stress Tests within the agile cycle.

Design Thinking: what is it and how does JUGAAD apply it?

It is a human-centred approach to solving complex problems and innovating. With empathy and people at the core, JUGAAD gets to know stakeholders deeply: we observe, listen and put ourselves in users' shoes to understand their needs, desires and frustrations. Then come defining the core problem, ideation and plenty of brainstorming, and prototyping with lots of testing: we put the project in the hands of real users to get feedback, find flaws and improve the solution.

How does Design Thinking relate to agile methodology at JUGAAD?

Design Thinking (the THINK move) focuses on understanding the problem and discovering what to build for the client. Agile methodology (the BUILD move) focuses on planning, managing and executing that delivery quickly and iteratively, in sprints, setting all 12 pillars and the whole JUGAAD ecosystem in motion.

How long does it take?

It depends on the scope. The timeline is set in the proposal, with clear stages and deliverables from the start.

What is the CASA Method?

It is how we look at a brand from four sides: Core (what we are), Ambient (how we are perceived), Society (who we connect with) and Action (what we want to spark).

Do you work under confidentiality?

Yes. We can sign a confidentiality agreement before any detailed conversation.

What is the minimum investment?

It depends on the scope. In the first conversation we understand the problem and recommend the format that makes sense, a fixed project or a monthly cycle. You know the price before any commitment.

Do you work in English, Spanish or French?

Yes. We work in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, with projects in Brazil, Latin America, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

How does AI fit into the work?

As a tool, not a shortcut: AI is a means, never an end. We use AI for research, data and automation, and in the JUGAAD AI-Driven pillar LIA qualifies and answers leads while SQU handles after-sales, along with other proprietary solutions. Creative work, design, scripts and the entire direction of every project are 100% human. Strategy is still made by people: we are HUMAN-First. A company cannot live on Claude, GPT, Gemini, Manus and the like alone.

Do you work outside São Paulo?

Yes. We are based in São Paulo and work across Brazil and abroad, in person or remotely.
